Becky White is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 93760). She works with teens, adults, couples, and families undergoing phase-of-life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Her mission is to assist clients in achieving wellness through balance, healthy love and secure attachment. She enjoys working with couples and individuals dealing with codependency issues in relationships. Becky’s own personal experiences also help her to work compassionately with individuals dealing with chronic pain.
Becky received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She has additional training in dual diagnoses, substance abuse, trauma, and anger management. Becky provides counseling services in English and Spanish.
In her work, Becky utilizes Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Existential orientations to help clients achieve self-understanding and remove blocks so that they make clear decisions and take clear actions with integrity and resolution. Becky is also a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hr level and went through intensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at InsightLA. In addition to her private practice, Becky guest lectures at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She is the Recording Secretary for the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. Becky also runs the Child and Family Counseling program at the Saban Community Clinic where she sees children, teens, adults and families, and is the Training Coordinator in their Behavioral Health department.
Becky is an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
